In her statement, she reiterated the determination of John Dramani Mahama and herself to improve the working conditions of the people in the country.
Professor Naana also said that, the economy must be humanized, and must be about the people.

She expressed her appreciation to the leadership of the organized labour for honouring her invitation. She stated that, as natural allies, their discussions are focused on the next NDC Government’s industrial relations policy as captured in the People’s Manifesto.
She concluded by thanking Prof. Kwesi Botchway, Dr. Nii Moi Thompson, Hon. Mona Quartey and Mr. Goosie Tanoh for joining her team to hold such an important engagement.
