The Member of Parliament for Tamale Central constituency, Murtala Muhammad has thrown a jab at his lecturer and the deputy Electoral commissioner, Dr. Bossman Eric Asare describing him as a good lecturer but a disastrous Deputy Electoral commissioner.
Murtala Muhammad made this statement as a panelist on GOOD MORNING GHANA on Metro TV today when he was giving his submission on the judgement delivered by the Supreme Court on the 2020 election Petition.
"We have a Deputy of the electoral commission who made such an infamous statement and sometimes I feel extremely uncomfortable because he is my lecturer. I have said that he is an outstanding lecturer but a disastrous Deputy Electoral commissioner.
He described a political party as an existential threat to the democracy of our country yet he supervised an election in which the political party he stereotyped without a single evidence and described as an existential threat to our democracy participated in that electoral process." - He revealed
