A former Mahama appointee who headed the National Youth Authority between the period 2013 to 2016, Ras Mubarak, has lashed out at the Minority leadership in Parliament for their recent show of 'disrespect' towards Speaker Alban Bagbin. He revealed that most of the NDC Members of Parliament are not happy with the decision by the Minority leadership, especially Haruna Iddrisu and Muntaka Mubarak, to disagree with the orders of Speaker Bagbin.

Speaking on Asaase FM, the former Member of Parliament explained in the words of Haruna to the President, that the current Minority leadership is not in touch with reality. He believed that the basis on which the minority challenged the Speaker was very weak. He questioned Muntaka and Haruna Iddrisu to tell Ghanaians whose interest they are serving. If it was their own interest or the interest of the people who brought them into Parliament.
