"My Life Is In Danger. I Need Security" - NDC's Atubiga Sadly Begs Akufo Addo Live On TV

Not long ago a staunch member of the opposition NDC, Steven Atubiga was suspended by the party executives for misconduct. His suspension came right after Allotey Jacobs who was the former central regional chairman of the party was also sacked from the party.

Ever since he was sacked, he has run riot against the NDC exposing the secrets of the party and attacking the party leadership on every single platform he finds himself on.

Surprisingly, the suspended NDC member appeared live on Accra based Net 2 program, the seat show, a pro NPP television station owned by Honorable Kennedy Ohene Agyapong who is a strong NPP member of Parliament.

It was a surprise to many to see an NDC man invited on a program aired on a pro NPP television station, but it made sense since he is suspended from the party. And addressing his suspension issue on the television, Atubiga revealed he wasn't sacked from the party but he himself resigned from the party after realising the party had no sense of direction and future and due to that there has been several attacks and threat on him from the NDC.

According to him, the NDC national chairman, Ofosu Ampofo is on a mission of making the party a weak one that will make it difficult for Mahama to win any election in the country. He further revealed Ofosu Ampofo was behind the sacking of Allotey Jacobs and Koku Anyidoho as well as his own resignation simply because they applaud the Akufo Addo government on the numerous achievement since he assumed office.

"Regardless of whether I'm an NDC member or not and I know as a citizen of this country my safety is the responsibility of the president of the day. My life is not only under threat, but in danger just for revealing hidden secretd in the NDV and Im pleading with the president to provide me with a stern security", he concluded.

Is Stephen Atubiga's revelations about the NDC a payback for his suspension from the party or he is just saying what he thinks is sinking the party?
