Today, the Speaker of Parliament, Right Honorable Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, fumed at the statements made by one of the popular members of Parliament, Frank Annoh Dompreh, who is also a leader of the house that the elections held so far in the NPP have been peaceful. Alban Bagbin held the opposite view that the NPP internal primaries have not been peaceful. With regards to that, Alban Bagbin spoke about his expectations ahead of the NDC primaries.
"I am surprised that the Majority Chief Whip said that the internal elections in the NPP so far, are peaceful. The evidence is too much to counter that position. It has not been peaceful. And I will not like to see that at any party. Members of the same party cutlass each other. And it is peaceful? Come on", Alban fumed.
The National Democratic Congress will soon start its internal elections and we are hoping that everything will be peaceful.
