It is anticipated that before the next general election, the National Executive Committee of the ruling New Patriotic Party will draw up a new manual for flagbearer aspirants.
Speaking on Monday 12 April, NPD Secretary General of the NPP John Boadu announced, in an interview with Beatrice Adu on The Big Bulletin of Asaase Radio, that the matter will reach NEC later this month.
He mentioned that the Party is currently preparing a plan to promote the work of the national board.
"When we do not remember these things, it means that the government's decisions and the actions of the president will be overshadowed by these innecessary water testers over the next three years," he stated.
Boadu says: "We shall soon go before our national board of governors, and we want a very good declaration from the board, beyond that. So, by this month, I am presenting a proposal to the National Steering Committee to develop guidelines to allow the Government to continue its work."
