People Are Suffering Yet Politicians Are Building Mansions - Prophet Oduro Laments

Prophet Dr Kofi Oduro has emphasized that the neglect of the hardships experienced by the ordinary Ghanaians in pursuit of richness is pure wickedness. He exclaimed that the extent at which some politicians are amassing wealth and properties is exceedingly mind-boggling, adding that the Ghanaian people have become critical of what politicians do to finance them.

Prophet Dr Oduro stressed that politicians have sacrificed the plight of the people with greed. He noted that he was surprised to learn how a new Parliamentarian was able to raise a mansion at East Legon within three years.

He wondered about the source of money for these politicians, and indicated that politics in Ghana have become lucrative but at the expense of the development of the people. Prophet Dr Oduro argued that the Ghanaian people are suffering and yet the politician is showing no concern for them.

"People are suffering and politicians are building mansions. Where is the humanity in us? We call ourselves a Christian nation and yet we neglect the plight of the people for our personal gains. How come a new MP builds a mansion at East Legon in just three years. We are sick!"

Prophet Dr Kofi Oduro charged his congregation to commit the nation into prayer to redeem it from selfish and careless leadership. He noted that the orientation of our leaders are exploitative and that the people will continue to suffer if nothing is done about it.

He continued that current happenings in the country are discouraging honesty and patriotism in the coming new generation, adding that he fears for the nation if politicians continue to milk the nation and neglect the development of the people. Prophet Dr Oduro continued that Ghanaians cannot remain impoverished for a few politicians to become wealthy.

He stressed that Islamic states are more patriotic hence the unrivaled development of its people. He cried that greed had rather taken center stage among Ghanaians hence the poor state of our development.
