Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has reacted to the death of the late Ama Benyiwa Doe. The demise of the late minister of state under the leadership of the national democratic congress has become one of the talks of the day.
Today happened to be one of those sad days where a legend is lost in a country. Ghana happens to lose one of its legendary politicians and activists and can’t believe this could happen. She started from parliament and rose to the standard we saw her reach in the country.
When it came to sincerity and transparency, she was always one among the few listed persons who could portray such characteristics. Ama Benyiwa Doe was a motivation and a person who many who came in contact with revealed had a kind heart.
Her unique voice made her recognizable anywhere and everywhere and this is why we hail her till this day. Nana Addo’s reaction to her demise is one that many expected since he had some personal encounters with her whiles rising up to the presidential seat which he occupies at the moment.
He revealed that she was his colleague in parliament during the times he was a member of parliament. Nana Addo did not only wish her a farewell but also showed how much of a great person she is. The demise of this powerful woman is one that everyone is saddened by and we hope the families heal from this sad news which has befallen them.
As it stands, there have not been any news from the family of the late Ama Benyiwa Doe on when she will be laid to rest and where this will take place. The desire of many also is that she gets a befitting and a well deserved burial because the impact the woman has had on the country is a positive one and one that will be very difficult to come by ones again.
