EKMA: Kojo Acquah gets confirmation from assembly members as MCE

The assembly members of Effia-Kwesimintsim Municipal Assembly (EKMA) have overwhelmingly endorsed the government nominee, Mr Kojo Acquah to serve another four-year term.

All the twenty assemblymembers both government appointees and elected had earlier hinted that they will give another mandate to the nominee who according to them displayed exceptional leadership during his first term.

All the twenty assembly members voted yes for Mr Kojo Acquah after the results were made public making it a hundred per cent confirmation.

After his elections, Mr Kojo Acquah made it known the main focus in his second term will be the roads and drainage system in the EKMA.

According to him, a lot of roads in the municipality have not been completed as that will be his main focus and also improve the drainage system to prevent flood.

He went further to call for support from stakeholders being, the Regional Minister,Nananom and the assembly members to deliver to his promise.
