I Commend Akufo-Addo But I Disagree With Him On This - Kwesi Pratt Jnr

The managing editor for insight news paper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr has stated that yesterday's interview granted by President Nana Akufo-Addo on peace FM was good but his message to Aflo Chief in the Volta Region is not good.

The veteran Journalist speaking on peace FM morning show hosted by Kwame Sefa Kayi today said that he will commend Nana Akufo-Addo for warning his ministers who wants to become his successor. He stated that if president Nana Akufo-Addo doesn't do that ministers who wants to become presidential candidate in 2024 may destroy his government as they are making some controversial statements which is hitting his government.

Kwesi Pratt Jnr told Kwame Sefa Kayi that by now that the ministers want to contest flagbearership in NPP, they must step aside because they can cause the downfall of NPP and he know the character of NPP party members.

Kwesi Pratt Jnr further jump to the defense of Nana Akufo-Addo again on LGBTQI+ after President Nana Akufo-Addo stated that people who are commenting on LGBTQ issue should expressed their opinion freely because we have freedom of speech in the country. Kwesi Pratt Jnr said he has heard that a lot of people are bashing him left and right but what president Nana Akufo-Addo said was the right thing. According to him, not everybody in the country is against the LGBTQI+ bill so people can not prevent them from speaking their mind on the issue trending.

Kwesi Pratt Jnr finally disagree with President Nana Akufo-Addo on his message sent out to Aflao Chief on peace FM. He stated that even though Aflao Chief is not a bigger chief, he is important to his people. He said that the chief did not give time frame to complete the project but he is trying to tell Education minister that he should try and complete the project before school resumes in February next year.

" I commend President Nana Akufo-Addo for many things he said yesterday but his message to Aflo Chief is not good. We don't talk to chief like that. People are making some debate in the country which I won't like to comment on. Kwame, sincerely speaking the chief did not give time frame as people are trying to say. He is saying the minister should make sure he complete the project before February next year so that government can enroll students in it. I disagree with the president on this" Kwesi Pratt Jnr said on the show.
