Ghanaians are mounting pressure on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to apologize to paramount of chief of Aflao for saying that he should go and complete the E-block himself while the chief want his community to develop.
Broadcast journalist, Natalie Fort has asked Ghanaians that: Do you think President Akufo-Addo should apologize to Paramount Chief of Aflao Traditional Area, for suggesting that he should complete the E-block himself?
Ghanaians reacting to the question stated that president Nana Akufo-Addo should apologize to the chief with immediate effect because what he said was disrespecting.
They said they think so because is very disrespecting to see a president whom just last year going round the whole country begging for 4more to do more but today, he is telling the same people to complete the project in their town. "If he feel is delaying, probably maybe he feels he doesn't need any one vote again but I don't expect this from him at all" someone said.
Some people feels that the President's comment wasn't a suggestion, it was a "disrespectful insult" directed to make the people of the Volta Region furious. "This had always been his nature towards the people of the volts Region" the person added despite they want him to apologize to the chief.
Some people in angry mood stated they don't need his apology for it's obvious the NPP doesn't regard Voltarians right from day one.
"His attitudes and speech towards Volta region are the same so I personally I'm not surprise at all. That's how they regard us. He shouldn't forget that Aflao border is the biggest income to the country. Out from 100%, 90% of Ghanaians get there daily bread because of the border. You will think the border is favoring people from Volta. Nope! Kumasi people and people leaving in Accra cross the border more than we do here" another Ghanaian reacted.
Another Ghanaian think that Akufo-Addo should keep his apology because he obviously sees aflao as Togo and he clearly would not be remembered for anything but for peace sake, he should apologize.
