Traders in Bekwai charges. They send words to the sitting president Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo on Angel TV this afternoon 23rd October 2021. The voices of these aggressive women were heard when Ama Brago was broadcasting the noon news on Angel TV today.
The PRO of the Women Traders Union in Bekwai Madam Fremah lament bitterly over the current hardship in Ghana under Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo and Dr Bawumia. Madam Fremah boldly articulated that, they are not going to vote for the New Patriotic party NPP again coming 2024. She added that, she is going make sure their children in Bekwai will not also give their thump to the new Patriotic Party NPP in 2024 elections.
Other members of the union added that, they have been charged with with huge money to pay as part of their dues at the market. The painful aspect of their complains is that, despite paying huge charges as their dues; the government have set up a new market structure in Bekwai and they are expecting them to pay an amount of 500 Ghana cedis before getting a place to use at the market.
"We cannot bear this hardship and bad decision from the Government and the local people. We voted for Nana Addo for things to be better for Ghanaians. But we can't see any change. We and our children will not vote for NPP again." - PRO Fremah.
