Why did you give your supporters the wrong information?

Ghana’s high commissioner to Canada, Nii Ayikoi Otoo questions John Dramani Mahama for not telling his followers the truth.

NDC followers for the previous weeks have been on protests against the Electoral Commissions, December 7 election results and they are on the EC to declare John Dramani Mahama as the victor of the just concluded general elections.

According to their mantra, "No Mahama, No Peace", if John Dramani Mahama isn't declared the winner of the polls.

The NDC's petition has shown that the party didn't actually win the elections but are requesting for a reelection, because the opposition party didn't attain the require percentage to be declared as winners.

Nii Ayikoi Otoo, reacted to Mahama's petition stating that, He couldn't fathom why the NDC flagbearer would lie to his followers and later present a whole different petition to the Supreme Court for review.

He stated that, "Mahama told his party members that he has won the election and not Akufo-Addo, but later file a different petition seeking for re-run of elections.  If he didn’t attain the 50% why does he claim victory with some of his supporters protesting in a reasonable manner that he should be sworn in as President come January 7, 2021”.
