The numbers which was reflecting on the records of the Ghana health service pointed out that the coronavirus was under control in the country and a possible return to normal times. But this has not been the case off late as the number of cases has increased drastically. It was stated by the speaker of parliament that some of the members of parliament has tested positive for the virus and as a result they go by virtual means to carry out their various duties.
The government has now observed that the citizens are no more paying adherence to the safety protocols of covid-19 and that is a possible factor of the drastic increase in the number of positive cases recorded daily. There have been many footages circulating online were citizens are been punished for disobeying the safety protocols
The Ghana health service has warmed the government to implement a lockdown in order to help maintain the spread of the virus in the nation.
