The Founder and Leader of Glorious Wave Church International, Prophet Badu Kobi has prophecied that Ghana would be hit by another aweful experience of long power outages which was termed in the local parlance as 'dumsor'. According to him, it would so compounding than and least expected by the people of the country.
Prophet Badu Kobi told his church that the prophecy was contained in a list he noted for the 31st December 2020 watch night. He added that much of his prophecy is yet to be released to enlighten and prepare the country for the year 2021.
On that note the Prophet indicated that the dumsor crisis had almost set in and that government would struggle again to resolve it.
"Ghana will re-experience dumsor. Yes, it is coming," he added.
The Prophet indicated that the dumsor crisis will be compounded with some constant price increment of petroleum products in the country.
"I wrote it on the 31st but didn't say it. There will be constant increment in price of petroleum products. This will be on weekly basis. It's already happening," he stated.
Already the price of gasoline and diesel among other products have shot up at the pumps.
For the first pricing window for 2021, the Institute of Energy Studies (IES) noted that the prices of fuel will rise marginally, owing to the 5.03% increase in the price of International Benchmark – Brent crude, the 8.44% increase in the price of gasoline and the 6.96% increase in gasoil price.
