The Member of Parliament for the Anyway Sowutuom Constituency, Honourable Dr. Dickson Adomako Kissi attended an interview on Joy News to discuss the recent hike in our fuel prices as they have crossed the 8.

During the interview, he claimed that the Russia-Ukraine war has a hand in the increase in our fuel prices and that if the war did not come to a stop, it would affect our energy prices a lot.

"Russia-Ukraine war is quite unfortunate because these are huge distributors in our energy sector. It's not just Ghana, many countries such as UK, USA and other european countries are suffering. Of this thing doesn't come to an abrupt end, then our fuel prices are going to be very much affected", Dr. Dickson Adomako said.

"This is not something that the government anticipated was going to happen. I beg you, if we don't look at the increase in fuel prices from that perspective, then I don't know what is going to happen. Government is struggling in as much as ghanaians are struggling", he added.
