"This too shall pass" – Koku Anyidoho after being sacked from the NDC

The founder and President of the Atta Mills Institute and a pioneer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Koku Anyidoho has been sacked from the party. To show disregard for the expulsion, he tweeted amidst laughter that ‘this too shall pass surely.

Prior to the this too shall pass tweet, he had shared that he is a son of God. Therefore, just like Joseph, the NDC folks will need him one day.

“When Joseph’s brothers sold him into slavery; they did not know they were selling him into his God-given destiny to become a Prime Minister in Egypt. What evil men mean for wickedness; God turns it around for good. I am a Son of God.”

Also, he has expressed that he will continue to work on the growth of the Atta Mills Institute.

“I continue to remain focused on growing the Atta-Mills Institute, building Asomdwee Park, & flying high the legacy of President Atta-Mills. My bible tells me that, in ° ALL things, I should give thanks to God Almighty for His grace and mercies. We can’t paste this image from the Clipboard, but you can save it to your computer and insert it from there. I love Ghana.”

The expulsion follows incidents where the General Secretary of the party, Johnson Asiedu Nketia deems are tantamount to indiscipline and a breach of the party rules. The Functional Executive Committee (FEC) of the party considered the report and recommendations of the National Disciplinary Committee on the case of misconduct and anti-party behaviour brought against him.

The embattled politician who served as the Head of Communications under the Presidency of John Atta Mills from 2009 to 2012 was also Deputy General-Secretary of the National Democratic Congress from 2014 to 2018. Unfortunately, he had a turnaround towards the activities of the party as he expressed displeasure for the Mahama government. He has always lambasted the current NDC on his social media handles. These are actions that equally avid members of the party deemed misconduct towards the party.
