The people of Central Region vented their anger on the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo after a statement he made during an interview in Central Region. Nana Addo denied ever promising to build a harbor in Cape Coast during the campaign period but rather a landing site. This statement made the headlines of many media houses and newspapers.
Today, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo joined Peace FM journalist, Kwame Sefa Kayi on the Kokrooko show. They talked about a lot of issues. Later, Kwame Sefa Kayi asked Nana Addo about the statement he made in Cape Coast. Nana Addo immediately interjected Kwame Sefa Kayi and sent a bold message to the people of Cape Coast.
"Forgive me. I made a mistake."
He added that when he was on his way to Cape Coast, he read the manifesto and he read up to the part where there was landing site. He disclosed that he did not see the harbor. He revealed that he later saw it after the interview.
