A Development Consultant, Kwame Otchere Darko is insinuating that the government of Ghana is not being truthful about the recent power crises to the people of Ghana. He believes the government is hiding the facts about the Power situation to the Ghanaians.
However, he does not understand why the maintenance work claims by Ghana Grid Company Limited will turn off light when they are replacing a cable.
"You run parallel to the fold lines and then and when you are done you switch to that side. So that excuse of replacing cable of neither here nor there. It is still in the line of deceit and that is what is making it more frustrating. You must be truthful, you must talk Ghanaians exactly what is happening", he said.
However, an energy expert, Mr. Kwame Jantua has also direct all stakeholders in the power sector to make sure that after the maintenance work by the GRIDCo, the country should not go back to the recent erratic power crises again.
He therefore admonished the Electricity company of Ghana and the GRIDCo to go by the maintenance work timetable given to them.
