A fortnight ago, Kelvin Tailor published in his With All Due Respect talk show chronology of issues regarding Ga Chieftency. The owner of a US based Loudsilence TV alleged that, the presidency was trying to remove the Ga Mantse King Adama Latteh II and replace him with his favourite king Tackie Teiko Tsuru II.
Yesterday on the editorial of his show, Kelvin disclosed that the attempted "coup d'etat" had succeeded as King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II was sworn in with heavy security presence. Kelvin preceded his discussion with a press conference organised by Abola family to the effect that the royal family would not recognise the new king as Ga Mantse.
Kelvin Tailor who was visibly angry accused the smaller chiefs of taking cars from the seat of government just to subvert the truth. He said these chiefs are known in Ga land and have decided to sell the entire lineage for their selfish interest. Kelvin told the youth to take action against those chiefs in order to protect their lands.
"Those chiefs are in your areas. You see them riding cars they cannot afford. What are you waiting for? Take action now for the sake of Ga lands. If you keep quiet, your grand children will curse you for selling Ga land to foreigners", Kelvin charged.
