Occupy Ghana Calls on President Nana Akufo-Addo to prosecute Carlos Ahenkorah.

Carlos Ahenkorah has been in the media for the wrong reasons this week. Like Rosemond Brown, popularly called Akuapem Poloo the duo have dominated the headlines this week.

Honorable Carlos Ahenkorah, Member of parliament has been heckled for showing negligence and misconduct. Many view him as not worthy to be in leadership.

It can be recalled that earlier this week it was reported that Carlos Ahenkorah was in Intensive Care Unit. He later came out to debunk this and went ahead to grant an interview and even toured areas in Tema West.

However, his utterances have brought him so much pain. In the interview he acknowledged being COVID-19 positive and many have wondered why he will even tour places and grant interviews when he should be in isolation.

Many began to call for the President to terminate his job. Indeed, Carlos might have felt the pressure coming and eventually had to resign from his position as Deputy Trades Minister today July 3, 2020. It seems more trouble is in store for the law maker.

An activist group called Occupy Ghana is calling for the arrest and trial for the law maker. They see him to be guilty of intentionally spreading the infection. They are calling on the government to prosecute him as a deterrent to others who violate the law.

They feel the Nana Akufo Addo government has to act fast and get him confined. The group says in their countries this could be seen as a biological weapon and so needs to be addressed appropriately.

The group acknowledges that Carlos has done the honorable thing by resigning but the government needs to do more to clean the stain that Carlos has inflicted on them.

Again, Occupy Ghana is calling for Carlos Ahenkorah to be relieved from his position as Member of Parliament for Tema West.

Should Carlos Ahenkorah be relieved of his position as member of Parliament for Tema West?

Should he face the court of law for his negligence?
