The host of the Onua Morning Show Captain Smart blew his trumpet this morning concerning the government's decision against the people of Krobo. Captain Smart speaking this morning on the Maakye program revealed that he is not supporting the decision of Krobo citizens not to comply with the government's decision on the prepaid meters but that doesn't guarantee the government should cut off their power.
He further added that this is tribal politics because there are places in the Ashanti region that are still using the post-paid meters and most of them don't even pay the electricity tariffs. Why are they still enjoying light and the people of Krobo are perishing? Krobo is part of the Eastern region but the government can't even cut off the electricity in Kwahu and Koforidua and other places in the Region.
Not only the citizens on the land are perishing but there are institutions like hospitals, schools, companies, and others that use light for their daily activities, and those institutions have not stated not to pay.
In his conclusion, until the government will restore light he will not stop speaking about it and the people should vote against NPP in 2024. Because what they have done is totally wrong and tribal justice.
