Emotional As Minister Agrees To Help A Boy Get A Scholarship

Earlier on today, a Twitter user asked for the help of the Information Minister, Honourable Kojo Oppong Nkrumah and to everyone's surprised he actually got the help. The unnamed boy has posted on his twitter page asking how he could reach the member of Parliament for Ofoase Ayeribi. The could be post read as:

"Please how do I get to @konkrumah? You have to help your boy Hon.”

To everyone and literally no one, actually expected a reply. This is to say that, getting to reach people of his calibre on social media can be one of the hardest things to do. But to everyone's surprise, the MP replied asking what he could do for the young man.

In response to that, the young man wrote that he needs the help of the honorable to assist him to secure a scholarship. According to the guy, he needed the assistance of so he could be taken up on the GetFund scholarship.

I'm honored by your response Hon. I just got admission for my master in Knust but sponsorship has been a problem. I want you to help me to be considered for a GetFund scholarship. I will be waiting to hearing from you. Thanks” he writes.

The Minister defies expectations as he responded to the guy for him to message Him and also see him in his office.

"Why don't you DM me and come by the office next week so I support your Getfund application with a recommendation letter. I've followed you

This may sound unreal but, it actually happened. Many people have expressed their shock and also their excitement in a mixed feeling to this. Many had thanked the honorable including the ace broadcaster Serwaa Amihere who have also thanked the minister for his leadership of service on the ground. Although others may see it as political or out of politicking, there are other meanings into this deed that should be the spotlight. That is that, after all, someone is being helped.
