The vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Dr Mahamadu Bawumia joined delegates to mourn with Bono Region over the death of Regional Chairman of council of elders
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has paid tribute to its departed Chairman for the Council of Elders in the Bono region Mr G.K Awuah on Saturday at Sunyani.
A presidential delegation led by the 1st Vice Chairman of the party in the region Mr Joseph Mensah and the Bono Regional Minister Hon Justina Owusu-Banahene observed the final funeral rites of the fallen Patriot who was 81.
Joining the entourage were Mr Afari Rep of National Council of Elders, Mr Thomas Adu Appiah Chairman Bono East, Hon Alfred Tuah Yeboah Deputy Minister for Justice and Attorney-General, Kofi Ofosu Boateng Bono Reg. Secretary, Doris Asoma 2nd Vice Chairperson, Delegation from Ahafo led by Baba Gausu, Prof Ameyaw Akumfi, Stephen Ntim, Yaw Preko, CEO for the Middle Belt Development Authority Hon Joe Danquah, Hon Paul Twum MP for Dormaa East, Hon Agyenim Boateng MP Berekum West, Mr Henry Oppong Regional Financial Secretary, Asare Bediako Seth the party's Communications Director and other high ranking officials.
