It appears the attempt by the largest opposition party, the NDC to exposed the unfulfilled promises by the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) is backfiring on the NDC.
This is because, the website the NDC designed to purposely to exposed the unfulfilled promises of the Npp, at its weekly press briefing on Monday, 15 June, 2020, the NDC led by the Member of Parliament for North Tongue, Hon Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, who is also a ranking member of the committee on foreign affairs for the Minority side of Parliament.
During Monday's press briefing, the NDC mentioned that, there is a dedicated website created by the NDC where the general public can always go and check for any facts about the failed promises of the Npp, the website was given as "Npp failed promises", but an attempt to visit the website by some Ghanaians has proven futile as the website is unaccessible, below is a screen shot of the feedback from the website
According to Hon Ablakwa, the Npp only achieved only 14 percent of its campaign promises it made in the run up to the 2016 elections, adding that, most of the campaign promises made by the ruling New Patriotic Party remained unfulfilled or failed promises.
Meanwhile, information minister, Kodjo Oppong Nkrumah, has responded to the claims by the NDC at its press briefing by describing it as intellectual dishonesty.
