The Bono East Regional Police Commander DCOPAsumadu Okyere Darko has said the mandatory wearing of nose mask has no time bound as Ghanaians adhere to it only on day time.
According to him, most people have chosen to wear the nose mask only in the day time but refuses to put on during the night a situation he says is very dangerous so far as the prevention of the spread of coronavirus is concern.
DCOP Asumadu Okyere Darko expressed his observation in an interview with the media in Techiman "Bono East Regional capital.
The Bono East Regional Police Commander added that the law enforcers granted bail after detaining 52 defaulters for some hours in Techiman Municipality last week. Meanwhile they will continue to enforce the wearing of nose mask.
He finally advised the general public to continue to adhere to the safety protocols especially the wearing of nose mask whenever they are going out of the homes to help curb the spread of the disease.
