It's has been a reaction Sunday for Ghanaians since the kind of words coming from some people. Most people in this country including myself are happy with the way the country is peaceful. Although NPP and NDC are not helping me and you but it's okay. It's better we remain as a democratic State than to be ruled by the military again.
His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo has made some statements which has left many Ghanaians talking. On the 2nd day of his working visit to the Ashanti Region, His Excellency the chair made a statement that he has been enjoying peaceful politics since the country got to the fourth republic. He added that he likes it and he don't think anything will call for a coup d'etat in the country.
Being interviewed on Kumasi based Ash FM, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo changing Government through the ballot is one of the things that has helped the stability of the country. He added that they people really know what they want so if someone is not performing well, they will change him when the four years is due. According to him, the country does not need a coup to change someone as a president.
Ghanaians have been reacting after the president made this statement in Kumasi. Many people have been insinuating that what happen in Guinea has put some fear in the president and some African leaders. Some too have noted that if he does not want a coup to be used to change Government, then he should step down when he is voted out. Others too have been saying the president used a judicial coup during the 2020 general election to attain his seat.
Some too have noted that nobody in this country wants a coup but the coup comes by its self so leaders of the country should be watchful. According to some, the words of the president shows he is afraid and running away from it indirect.
