A former member of parliament for Tamale Central Constituency and former Minister for Roads and Highways in the erstwhile NDC government, Alhaji Inusa Fuseini has surprisingly expressed his feelings in defence of the homosexual community.
According to the former minister who was speaking on Kumasi based Hello FM, there is no need to treat the LGBTQI people with disdain. He said they should be treated by Ghanaians as human beings and not animals.
According to Hon. Inusah Fuseini, it is not the fault of LGBTQI people to be created the way they have been created. He said some people are men, but they have some female characteristics in them. Others are also females who have male characteristics in them. We therefore have to respect them as they are and not look down on them and stigmatize them.
