A deputy Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party [NPP], Richard Nyamah has said that John Mahama is afraid to go to court not because he feels the court has been packed by Nana Addo but he knows he never won the 2020 election presidential election.
Ghana went to the polls on December 07th, 2020 elect both it's president and Parliamentarians.
The Electoral Commission [EC] has announced that Nana Akufo-Addo is the president elect bound to be sworn in on January 07th, 2020 though most of his MPs lost their seats.
But the NDC feels the EC manipulated figures to favour the ruling party with some Constituencies also on hold hence find fault in the declaration from the EC that Nana Akufo-Addo has won the 2020 elections.
The NDC as at today, haven't officially made claims they will be challenging the EC's verdict at the supreme court but have turned to numerous Demonstrations across the country.
But the deputy Communications director of the NPP, Richard Nyamah on TV3's NewDay today said that He is putting his job on the line that John Mahama and the NDC will never go to court over the presidential elections.
He said: "Look Berla [Host], I am putting my job on the line and telling you today that John Mahama and the NDC will never go to court".
"He is afraid to go to the Supreme Court".
"Not for the alleged fear that the supreme court is packed by Nana Addo but he knows within himself he didn't win the presidential election".
"Check all his statements, He speaks to the parliamentary elections. He doesn't speak to the presidential elections".
"The NDC as a whole knows that he didn't win but are just trying to cause chaos in the country"..
"And it will be best for him to call his people to order otherwise he might jeopardize his chances in 2024 when Ghanaians realise he is looking on for his people to cause chaos in the country", he ended.
So the question still remains, NDC claims they have all their pink sheets ready, will they head to the court?
Or they will give it to God?
