The social and political commentator, Kevin Ekow Baido Taylor, has taken a swipe at the National Youth Organizer of the NDC, George Opare Addo. According to him, Opare Addo is not fit to be in that position if NDC wants to win the 2024 election.
Kevin Taylor made this statement on his 'With All Due Respect' program when he said that George Opare Addo is not always available when NDC needs him the most.
According to Kevin Taylor, his problem with the National Youth Organizer of the NDC is that when the NDC needed him, he wasn't there.
Suddenly, George Opare Addo is all over the place because he knows elections are around the corner. He has realized that someone can contest him for the position.
When people were shot, and the NDC needed a leader who could organize the party, he wasn't available. Guys like him only show up when they need power from the people.
"The position that is vital in the NDC going into election 2024 is the national youth organizer, and I think that George Opare Addo is not fit to be in that position. You can say I've gone and collected money from somewhere, but I don't care. He doesn't understand the position he is occupying in the NDC."
He indicated that some of the guys in the NDC are the reason they lost the 2020 election. Somebody like Chief Biney, who has become a "housewife" is not needed in the executives of the party. He is not ready to serve the people.
He stated that we don't always need lawyers to lead the party. We need ruthless people who can lead the NDC into election 2024.
As he speaks now, NPP has gone to Assin North Constituency preparing to win the bye-election, if it gets to that. Why do we think the NPP wants to make Kennedy Agyapong their Chairman? It's because they need a ruthless person who can let the crowd know that he is fighting for them.
So, it's not about being a Lawyer and people saying nice things about you. It's about being there for the people. The NDC's grassroots don't understand George Opare Addo because he doesn't bring people along when he speaks.
