According to him, he has seen the country's leadership for the next 25 years, and Dr. Bawumia would not be a part of it.
Nigel Gaisie claimed in a radio interview on Angel FM that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is being encouraged to stand down at some point during his second term to allow Bawumia to complete his tenure.
He asserted, however, that Bawumia will never run for President of the country and win.
"In West Africa, a president will quit before his term expires. It's an English-speaking country. There is a larger plan in place to pave the way for his succession. In the next 20 or 25 years, I don't see Bawumia being president. I saw him wearing President Akufo-shoes, Addo's hence President Akufo-Addo will most likely resign for him to take over, but not before 2024. That has already been established. I've seen our next 25-year leadership, and Bawumia isn't among them.
