I'm In optimistic mood, A Guiltless Individual have Anything To Dread Assin North MP Tells

Hon James Gyakye Quayson, a member of Parliament for Assin North Supporters on the ticket of the Public Majority Rule Congress (NDC), is facing five counts of criminal offenses as the decision New Energetic Party (NPP) seeks to remove him from office through the High Court.

The charges are: duplicity of a public official disregarding area 251 (b) of the Criminal Offenses Act, 1960, Act 29; fraud of a visa or travel endorsement infringing upon segment 15 (1)(b) of the Visas and Travel Testaments Act, 1967 (NLCD 155); and purposely making a misleading legal assertion infringing upon the Legal Revelations Act, 1971, Act 38.

The Hon. James Gyakye Quayson was today caught at Parliament House, and columnists drew nearer to him to discover how he is dealing with his court issue and parliamentary work. The MP said that "I can't talk about a matter that is in court." Yet, everything I can say is that I am in an optimistic mood; an honest individual doesn't have anything to fear". The writer, after this, asked him, "We heard that a bailiff entrusted to give court archives to you was tossed out by your guardian." How to tell that? Were you presented with the court records?"

Hon. James Gyakye Quayson said that he couldn't respond to that question since that matter is likewise in court. As indicated by him, he accepts and confides in the legal framework since that is the way for him to succeed.
