In the run up to the 2020 General Elections, many politicians from the National Democratic Congress raise concern about the health of the president, His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akuffu Addo. They argued that, given a country with the life expectancy of below the age of seventy, it was advisable that the president was not allowed to contest the elections on health grounds.
However, the President proved his doubters wrong as he was very energetic and strong throughout the campaign. In fact he travelled several kilometers through the length and breath of the country, making his manifesto known to the electorates.
However a video going viral on social media, showing how the President was finding it difficult to cut a sod, is making to begin to raise eyebrows over the health of the first gentleman of the land.
Kelvin Taylor, a very critical social media journalist of Nana's government, claimed on his Loud Silence TV Show that the president is partially blind.
He further went on to allege that, the President knew he was not going to finish the term of his office and Dr. Bawumia will take over when the President steps down.
He however suggest that, those in charge of the health of the President should be up and doing and that, if necessary, he should be flown abroad for treatment.
