Many would expect a lot of reactions after the election declarations, but what Bawumia did aside the congratulation may make everyone wonder.
Bawumia in a picture cited on his facebook page went to the office of the President, bowed before him and gave a faint blow on Nana`s blow. On the page, he congratulated Nana Addo for his victory. The joy and happiness expressed in his reaction is unique to say that the results of the election is what they expected.
From January 14th, the supreme court resided over the decision made by the electoral Commission, declaring Nana Addo as the president elect.
Today, the supreme court gave its final verdict, declaring that, they have found no legitimacy in the petition filed by the petitioners. They, therefore, excused the case and upheld the decision of the Electoral Commision.
Certain followers of Bawumia also expressed their appreciation for Bawumia`s reaction. These are some of the things they said.
This follower went to the extent of declaring his expectation for Bawumia as far as the NPP is concerned.
I sincerely hope n pray that NPP will anoint Dr Alhaji Bawumia as the next Presidential candidate for 2024 n 2028 if we really want to retain power after Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo has finished his term. We should always remember what happened in Akwatia. Yoo
