"I have been advised on what's going on and I will keep on encouraging them to practice restriction. We know the terrorizing that is going on and how it has influenced their vocations since they can't move uninhibitedly on their own territories however I despite everything request that they practice restriction and energize them in their numbers to come out and register in front of the 2020 general decisions."

Mr. Mahama's visit through the district was to empower him watch and get direct data on the continuous across the country Voter's enlistment practice by the Electoral Commission.

He visited enrollment focuses in the South Tongu, Akatsi South, Ketu North, Ketu South, Akatsi North, Agotime-Ziope and Ho Central Constituencies where he communicated with customary rulers, candidates and gathering people the same.

We realize that the military is one of the security administrations and it has the order of shielding the regional uprightness of our nation against outside hostility, so whenever there is the arrangement of the military, at that point you realize that there is an extraordinary emergency thus, it shocked a ton of us."

As per him, however government's clarifications are that the arrangement is done to ensure the outskirts against cross fringe spread of Covid-19, it has harmonized with the Voter enrollment work out, which has prompted terrorizing and badgering of residents who should practice their city obligation of enlisting in an empowering situation.

"Lamentably, the incident of the beginning of the voters enrollment practice with the sending of the military has left an unsavory case in the brains of drivers of popular government, since this Covid-19 pandemic has been with us for certain months now and we began with just two cases revealed. On the off chance that there is the requirement for us to seal our outskirts, I feel that is the time those fringes ought to have been fixed when we had just two cases. Presently today, we have more than 20,000 cases thus, one miracles if the quality of Covid-19 is from inside or from outside."

Mr. Mahama finds the military sending and its orderly issues as a method of scrutinizing the citizenship of the occupants of the locale who have lived calmly for a long time.

The presence of the security in the region, especially in border communities in the Ketu South, Akatsi North and Ho West areas has received wild condemnations from Traditional Authorities and residents in the region who have persistently accused the military of ransacking people’s homes, removing people from queues at registration centres and molesting of individuals on suspicion of being aliens attempting to participate in the voters registration exercise.
