This is after the President and his wife together with the Vice President and his wife all took their Jabs publicly yesterday in Accra.
The former President took his jab awhile ago at the Police Hospital in Accra as he becomes part of high ranking Public Officials to take the Vaccine.
Ghana became the first African Country to receive the AstraZenaca Vaccine from India with about 600,000 doses of Vaccine arriving in the Country on Friday.
The Country is also expecting another set of Vaccines from Sputnik from Russia which has also been approved by the FDA for emergency use in Ghana.
The decision by the President and other Public officials to take the vaccine publicly is due to the myhts and conspiracies about the Vaccine by some Ghanaians concerning the safety of the Vaccine.
Whiles others are of the view that, the Vaccine can cause infertility among both Men and Women, others think that, the Vaccine can alter one's DNA if taken.
But the Ghana Health Service and other health experts have debunked all these myths about the vaccine.
For now, the Vaccine is being sent to Districts which are hot spots in the Greater Accra Region and Ashanti Region.
In the Ashanti Region, the Asantehene and other leaders in the Region are expected to take their Jabs for the Vaccine today.
Members of Parliament, the Judiciary and the Executive as well as fronntline health workers and security agencies are among the groups to receive the Vaccine.
