Akufo-Addo's Reply To Chief Of Aflao Has "Underestimated" The Power Of Chiefs In Ghana (Opinion)

In my opinion, I think President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo has "disrespected" the Chief of Aflao and has also "underestimated" the power of chiefs in Ghana.

Akufo-Addo's comment to the chief's plea to to government of Ghana to open the abandoned schools built by Former President John Dramani Mahama was regarded as "harsh" due to how he delivered it.

Although chiefs have some sort of power to make decisions or to address certain issues concerning their community, the Aflao chief's comment aimed at helping the community and Ghana was "underestimated" by the incumbent President.

I don't think there is any law stating the Chiefs in Ghana do not have the right to "criticize" decision of of Government.

Although there hasn't been any replies the Chief, I think the Chief would reply to the President's comment.

In my opinion, I think the President should official apologize for his speech against the Chief because it has "underestimated" the power of Chiefs in the country.
