Kwesi Pratt Jnr explaining why he had no choice but to accept the results of CDD said that the questions asked by CDD were about 2020 election and Ghanaians responses to the questions indicated that they're surprised to see sitting government to lose a lot of parliamentary seat in it's first term in office.
Kwesi Pratt Jnr stated that NPP lost about 20 parliamentary seats and lost about 500,000 votes in the presidential election which indicated that the people does not trust Nana Akufo-Addo lead to fight corruption and protect them as promised.
He said CDD post election survey is not encouraging but he will state that he has no choice but to accept the outcome of the survey.
When asked that what changes before CDD could report such a mind blowing survey in another eight months after election, he stated that no one expected that NPP will perform low in the last election in both parliamentary and Presidential election, and said Ghanaians responses were focused on the election instead of saying something different after 2020 election.
" Randy, i have no choice but to accept the results of CDD. The report didn't empress me because of how CDD reported a lot of surveys in the past. CDD's report speakd about huge volume in 2020 election even if we accept the results as it is. Everyone is surprised to see a sitting government to lose 20 members of parliament and lost about 500,000 voters. I won't speak much about this because Ghanaians responses were direct to what happened in 2020 election instead of saying something different" he said.
