[Data]: Those Saying Unemployment Rate Has Increased Under Nana Addo, See Incredible Change.

Unemployment refers to the share of the labor force that is without work but available for and seeking employment.


In Governance, it is always the prime Interest of every political party and leaders to create more than necessary jobs for the youth in the country.


There is no campaign promises or policies of any political party say the New Patriotic Party and the National Democratic Congress that you will not find creation of jobs and giving employment to the nation's citizens.


We can now safely say that, any political party who really needs power to rule the country can never afford to eliminate job creation in its policies. Imagine what will happen if the youth in the country have no job to do and make a living. Then the country is likely to produce Armed Robbers, Prostitutes, Drug Dealers, Scammers and many more. Will that be something good to talk about as a Christian country like Ghana, absolutely No.


That is the main reason why every Leader of the make it an essential point to increase the employment rate in the country.

The remaining article discusses the unemployment rate under every Government since the Fourth Republic of Ghana.


Many of the youth nowadays are found comparing the Unemployment Rate of country under each President, starting from 1991. Don't worry your head, below is the data that summarizes all the Unemployment Rate from 1991 to 2019.

Now that we are headings close to the December 2020 Election, you can do this data analysis, check your living before making an informed decision on which of these Presidents has really helped in reducing the Unemployment Rate in the country. Ghana unemployment rate for 2019 was 4.33%, a 0.17% increase from 2018.

Ghana unemployment rate for 2018 was 4.16%, a 0.07% decline from 2017.

Ghana unemployment rate for 2017 was 4.22%, a 1.23% decline from 2016.

Ghana unemployment rate for 2016 was 5.45%, a 1.36% decline from 2015.


Under President Akuffo Addo, the Unemployment Rate decreased from 5.45% to 4.22% in 2016 with a difference of -1.23%.


In 2017, being fresh in Governance managed to reduce the Unemployment Rate by 0.07%, that from 4.22% to 4.16%. This also means that the Unemployment Rate in 2018 was 4.16% and this was achieved under the Leadership of Akuffo-Addo. You remember the Nation Builder Cops(NABCO).


Just last, where most of the financial institutions were closed down, many people lost their jobs and this increased the unemployment rate from 4.16% to 4.33% with 0.17% being the variance


In conclusion, we can now say that the NPP led by His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo(2016 to date) has better managed the economy by creating more jobs for the youth than the NDC led by the Former President John Dramani Mahamma (2012-2016), provided the above data is correct.
