Vice President Bawumia is expected to speak on the economy today after 'several' calls by some Ghanaians to hear his opinion on the current state of the economy. Touted as the head of the economic management team of the current administration and a flagbearer hopeful of the party in the next presidential elections in 2024, his opinion in the public domain is greatly sought after and so, therefore, his upcoming public lecture on the economy is welcoming news to all well-meaning Ghanaians.
He proffered this suggestion when contributing to discussions on the "Adekye Nsroma" show on United Television today, April 7, 2022.
"Dr Bawumia has been a failure since he became Vice President. He has succeeded in destroying the economy and that is the reality. His planned public speech is not going to change anything. The best thing he should do is to, first of all, apologize to Ghanaians for the mess we are in. He should leave the digitalization agenda to the sector Minister and focus on his job as head of the economic management team".
Dr Mahamudu Bamumia is expected to deliver a much anticipated public speech on the state of the economy today at the Pentecost Conference Centre in Kasoa.
