I Do Not Need To Fight For A Position Before You Give Me One- Hopeson Adorye Boldly Declares

The former Parliamentary candidate for the Kpone Katamanso constituency, Hopeson Adorye, appears to be angry after he wrote a long piece about not being recognized despite what he has done in the party. Early this week, the New Patriotic Party released a tall list of appointments that were given to some group of people. Richard Ahiagbah got for himself, the Director of Communication for the party.

Apparently, Hopeson Adorye's name was not found on the list. Hopeson Adorye has put into writing, his displeasure with this latest appointment. It could be that he was disappointed in the fact that someone he knew did not get a position. He wrote; Men of true Impact don't fight for position, visibility, or appearance. Their results speak for them not their propaganda. You don't need to shout to be heard. People keep quiet to listen to Intelligent People. If you will need to Swear before People can believe you, you lack Integrity. If you will have to lobby for every available position even when you appears to be the most qualified, you have trust issue and lack principle.

According to him, anybody who fights for a position that is given freely lacks divine favor. He went all religious as he made this declaration; if you will have to fight before you get things that are given to others freely, you lack divine favor. If you will have to shout at people before you get things done, you lack authority and respect.

Truth be told, Hopeson Adorye has done a great job for the New Patriotic Party, considering how he formed an integral part of the communication campaign team of the NPP. He has excellent communication skills especially in the local dialects so Ghanaians were expecting that he will be given a position in the communication team. Others also argued that by virtue of the fact that he campaigned for JFK, he would have secured some top positions in the party.
