Just In: Another Latest Update From President Nana Addo To Ghanaians; Public Holiday Confirmed.

His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo drops latest update to Ghanaians. This message is currently trending on all social media platforms and it is causing a great stir on social media.

According to the press released which was made known today 6th July 2022, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo the sitting president for the Republic of Ghana has declared Monday 11th July 2022 as a Republic Holiday for all Ghanaians. This holiday is as a result of the celebration of Eid -Ul - Adha festival celebrated by the muslims in Ghana.

"The general public is hereby informed that Saturday 9th July, 2022 marks 'Eid-ul-Adha' which is a statutory public holiday. However, 9th July, 2022 falls on a Saturday and therefore, his Excellency, the President of the Republic of Ghana has by an Executive Instrument (EI) and in accordance with the section 2 of the Republic Holidays and commemorative days act 2001 (601) declared Monday 11th July, 2022 as Public Holiday and should be observed as such throughout the Country.

This is indeed a good news for Ghanaians as they are going to celebrate the Eid ul Adha festivity without going to work on Monday 11th July 2022.
