Maame Dokono have sent a simple message to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo through her son Kobi Rana.
They have petitioned him to speak to the Ghana Tourism Authority boss and the one in charge of Tourism and creative arts that enough is enough of their intimidation and delay tactics. And that they can't stop their production this time round except God.
In an interview about her current movie project called Freedom and Justice, Maame Dokono explained that the movie was supposed to be in the cinemas last year December. However, the producers were frustrated and prevented from showing the movie.
They placed the blame on corona virus ban on cinemas. However, political rallies was busily organized.
Maame Dokono added that whether the Tourism Authority likes it or not, they will show the movie coming Easter. And during that period, only God can stop them.
They have started with promotion and sale of tickets despite unofficial approval from the President lifting ban on cinemas.
The movie Freedom And Justice talks about corruption, greed, family and friends government and galamsey in Africa especially Ghana.
