NPP Has Shot Itself With The Passing Of The 2022 Budget - Opinion

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has shot itself with the passing of the 2022 budget because ordinary Ghanaians and the business community are against it.

As a result, the 2022 budget has already paved way for the New Patriotic Party governments to leave power into opposition.

This is because there have been mixed reactions from Ghanaians since the tax on electronic transactions was introduced as part of the 2022 budget.

Ghanaians complained bitterly about the tax on electronic transactions because many of them are not qualified to open a bank account so they depend on electronic transactions for deposits and withdrawals.

When the 2022 budget was rejected, Ghanaians were very happy and praised the opposition party for its efforts.

Today, November 30, 2021, the 2022 budget has been approved and Ghanaians are not blaming the opposition party but rather the New Patriotic Party.

So this simply means that the New patriotic party has shot itself with the passing of the 2022 budget as they have lost a lot of votes from the Ghanaians.
