Can The Fearless and Courageous Okudzeto Win This War?

The MP for North Tongu, Okudzeto Ablakwa has indeed divided opinions over his recent revelations on President Akufo-Addo's travels and the national cathedral project.

Little did Ghanaians know that the agenda was beyond political interest. Many are those who thought he was just trying to make the Nana Akufo-Addo administration unpopular by his actions.

Finally, Okudzeto Ablakwa has unveiled his intentions for the fight he has put up over the past few months. Revealing the reasons for the fight was all the the interest of the Ghanaian taxpayer and not his political party the NDC.

According to Hon. Okudzeto Ablakwa, he want a bill pass by Parliament to regulate Presidential Travels in Ghana. According to him, in order to get a firm grounds for his agenda, he started tracking the travel expenses by President Nana Akufo-Addo for the past 13 months. An accumulative figure he has compiled sum up to 34 million Ghana cedis. He noted that this amount the taxpayers money is being use on travels on by the President can do a lot for the suffering Ghanaian.

He stressed that the bill has already been drafted and will subsequently be presented to Parliament. He is optimistic that Ghana will win at the end of the day.

Notwithstanding, the great questions is whether Parliament will pass the bill? It's hopeful that for the interest of mother Ghana, they will reason beyond political colours and take a great look at the interest of the future generations.
