Erastus Asare Donkor, a journalist at Multimedia has shared some concerns about how some journalists are treated in the country. Speaking on Joy Prime this morning, Erastus Asare Donkor revealed that the MP for Assin Central constituency, Honorable Kennedy Agyapong once threatened his life.
Erastus Asare Donkor added that he reported the case to both the regional and national police but to no avail. This was done in the year 2021. He revealed that no one has called to inform him about the development made by the security agencies so far.

This comes after the same journalist touched on some issues that worry the freedom of journalists in the country. He spoke about how the world have even seen how journalism in the country is on the fall. The 2022 WPFI report put shows how Ghana has fallen from its 30th place in the global ranking in 2021 to 60th in 2022. In Africa, the country dropped from 3rd to 60th. This is Ghana's worst performance in 17 years.
