The founder and president of the pressure group 'Save the Nation for Future Leaders', Mr. Kwadjo Atta Apeakorang has stated that the only way to save the country from the continuous havoc being caused by Country detractors involved in the galamsey menace is to shoot and kill them all.
According to him, if the chiefs and political leaders of the country do not curb this unacceptable activity that is destroying our water bodies and farm lands, the youth of the country will soon rise against the leadership.
"I call on the leaders of this country to squarely deal with the issue, and that is why for us, we absolutely agree with the decision to burn all seized excavators", he said.
The president added, "and I dare say that shooting and killing perpetrators is the only way now to bring this to an end".
He has therefore challenged the President of the Republic, Nana Akufo-Addo to summon the Minister of Lands and Natural Resource, the CEO of Forestry Commission and all other agencies related to the activity into a meeting with him so he can guide then on the way forward to end it once and for all.
