Several predictions and prophecies have been made concerning the prospective individuals who can assume the flagbearership position of the National Democratic Congress and The New Patriotic Party. Right from the moment, the New Patriotic Party led by Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo won the 2020 election, many contemplations and analysis have been made as to who would occupy that position.
The political party for discussion here is the New Patriotic Party. The "battle" for the flagbearership position is between Alan Kyeremanten, Minister for Trade and Industry and the Vice President, Dr.Mahamudu Bawumia. Many groups have emerged to declare their supports for either one of these political parties. Thus, there is some sort of political division and banter in the New Patriotic Party.
Today, a photo of Kuffour discussing an issue with Bawumia has dropped online. This has caused and received massive reaction online. This photo was taken at the launch of a book, Art and The Power of Goodness, which is a collection of seventy writings of former president, John Agyekum Kuffour. See picture.
When this picture dropped online, it got people to ponder if Kuffour has endorsed Bawumia. The political stalwarts and leadership in the party must state their stand for their followers to emulate.
