His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo the incumbent president of the Republic of Ghana has finally admit that there is hardship and economic crisis in the country. Making his statement clearer, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo sends a bold message to the biggest Opposition Party National Democratic Congress NDC.
According To President Nana Addo, the fact that the economy is experiencing some sort of crisis should not permit the National Democratic Congress NDC party Executives and Party Members to Rejoice. The president of the Republic is of the view that, things are really tough though, but that should not guarantee the opposition party to start jubilations towards the upcoming 2024 elections.
In our opinion, Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo is not far from the truth because, the National Democratic Congress have started mocking at the recent crisis that crippled Nana Addo's and NPP Administration and as a result, they are thinking of winning 2024 elections with ease. But that should not be the mentality of the National Democratic Congress.
The opposition party should learn how to build unity in their party and they must be able to present a capable and influential presidential candidate who will be able to.lead the party into victory in 2022 and not necessarily using the current hardship and economic crisis in the country as the basis for their victory in 2024 elections.
Notwithstanding, The president want to make a point that, we are left with about 2 (two) years more into elections and His administration can do anything possible to revive the economy within a twinkle of an eye. However, this recent Government is looking for the needed support from all Ghanaians in other to make this happen. The fuel prices must go down and the the prices on goods and services must also go down.
