Political activist, kwame Asare Obeing A-Plus has disclosed that information he has received from close sources in the NPP after making all the noise that the budget has not been rejected or cannot be rejected or the rejection is unconstitutional, they have sent in some proposal to the minority.
A-Plus said Provision has been made for Tidal waves and victims in the budget and E-Levy has been reduced to 1% starting from 300 Ghana and said "Information wɔ krom. I will inform you if anything changes" but Ghanaians have stated that they won't pay anything if what A-Plus is saying is true.
"We won't pay the 1% no mpo. Honouable Sam Dzata George this shame of budget should not be accepted. It should be scrapped totally. We won't pay for Nana Akufo-Addo and his family to be enjoying in the skies" someone angrily stated.
Some people stated that the E-levy is not a political negotiation and the people of Ghana have rejected it. According to them, even if NDC brings it in 2025 or any other years, they shall opposed them with the same energy.
"At this point, I don't trust any minority MP, whatever compromised decision they have taken, they have equally been compromised. They call it Lobby but it's bribery" another Ghanaian told A-Plus.
"Still the 1% should be rejected. We can't pay any more momo levy in this tied up economy. They should better delete it from the proposed budget or the budget shall be rejected again" another Ghanaian stated.
See how Ghanaians with one spirit reject the one percent to ghc 300 E-Levy alleged by A-Plus below.
